Dairy Project (TO COMPLETE)

Architecture

TO BE UPDATED  Aziza Chaouni Projects was selected by the Ministry of Education in Sierra Leone to conduct a series of community consultations with students, teachers and communities to design a new prototype school.

The ACP team developed three games to be used in workshops with kindergarten students, primary school students and local architecture students. Each game allows students to learn about the considerations involved in designing a school, to express their spatial preferences, and to provide insight into their daily routines and preferences.  Further, ACP is working to transmit sustainable design concepts to the first ever class at the school of architecture in Freetown, building local architectural capacity in the process.

The information gathered at these workshops will be used in the next phase of the project, which is to design prototype school concepts for the Ministry of Education.
