Psychology Office Rabat

Doctor F-Z Zemmouri’s office design was inspired by Rorschach’s beautiful inkblot tests. A symmetrical plan with fanning wings was developed, with millwork and furniture developed to suit. The office consists of a small lobby with a bathroom and treatment room, with a large window creating a relationship to a bamboo garden.

 

A calm color palette of off-whites was selected to create a peaceful atmosphere, and to draw focus towards the serene bamboo garden landscape. The dropped ceiling and doors use plywood stained with an off-white treatment. The sliding door between the treatment room and the lobby can extend the space; facilitating a more open environment for the doctor when there are no patients.
