Dessine-Moi Une Ville

Urbanism

Dessine Moi Une Ville, or “Draw me a city” is a project which uses participatory tools to allow children, youth, women, and people with reduced mobility to contribute their reflections on urban space to a wider discourse in the southern Moroccan provinces. Inspired by Le Petit Prince’s famous quote, the Dessine Moi Une Ville project is the first large-scale collaborative design platform in Morocco.

The first group of workshops took place in April 2019, and the second round in March 2020. The Phosboucraa Foundation has made the results an open-source resource for the citizens of Laayoune and a wider academic audience to spark exciting conversations about the future of our public spaces.
