On June 9 – 11, 2015, the New Cities Foundation gathered 800 of the world’s leading decision-makers, mayors, CEOs, entrepreneurs, thinkers, artists and innovators in Jakarta, the vibrant capital of Indonesia, for the fourth edition of the New Cities Summit.
The New Cities Foundation is an NGO that was founded in 2010, with initial support from a group of thought leaders from the public, non-profit, research and private sectors – including our long-time partners and Founding Members, Cisco and Ericsson. It was founded upon a common belief in the unprecedented possibilities offered by this century of cities – a time when urban centers are driving economic, social and environmental progress as never before.
Chaouni participated in the The Water Panel which discussed core challenges as well as solutions to combat the water impending crisis.
Sessions summaries and videos are kindly made available by the New Cities Foundation here.
