Curated by Aziza Chaouni and Architecture for Humanity Toronto (Tamsin Ford and Ashley Adams), Crossing Borders exhibition showcases work that illustrates the active role that designers can play in conceiving sustainable strategies within communities in the developing world.
Students and alumni in the fields of architecture, landscape, urban planning, and interior design projects were invited to submit projects as part of a competition for Ontario design schools. A jury was composed of Luna Khirfan, Taymoore Balbaa, Mauricio Pacheco, Adrian Blackwell and Sean Kelly. The winning entries selected by a jury are displayed in the Larry Wayne Richards Gallery at the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design.
Kohn Shnier Architects generously supported the exhibition.
