Permaliving in Ontario Farmlands
November 13th, 2012

Ontario farmlands are slowly being abandoned by farmers due to costs of operations and an aging population. Less farmland, means less local produce, less biodiversity and the loss of ancestral farming knowledge.  This project aims to propose a new model of farming, in which the typical 100 acres Ontario farm parcels are divided amid several families, both rural and urban. Each sub parcel is designed according to permaculture principles.
